Protecting People and Property

Led by Fire Chief Jim Wyatt, the Gilroy Fire Department protects the safety of Gilroy residents and businesses by responding to structural and wild fires as well as motor vehicle accidents, medical calls, search and rescue, and other critical emergencies.

We are dedicated to protecting the lives, property and environment of the Gilroy community by employing the latest fire, rescue, emergency medical service, and prevention practices and technologies.

Core Services
