Apply for NO-COST HOME REPAIRS by Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley, a non-profit organization servicing Santa Clara County.  Funded in part by federal Community Development Block Grant funds and in partnership with the City of Gilroy, Rebuilding Together offers a wide range of services, on any type of house, from small safety modifications, like grab bars, low-rise steps, and handrails, to larger structural changes, like siding, skirting, exterior/interior painting, and more!

Income Eligibility Requirement


Applicants must be low-income homeowners who reside in the incorporated area of Gilroy. 

To date, at no charge, this program has provided low-income Gilroy residents with modifications that will keep families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities safe and healthy in their home.

Notice of 7-day Comment Period for Request for Release of Funds


A 7-day public review period will begin on May 29, 2020 and end on June 5, 2020 for the request to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for release of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds to undertake the Rebuilding Home Repair, Rehabilitation and Accessibility Modification Program.

Comments received by June 5, 2020 will be considered by the City of Gilroy prior to authorizing submission of a request for release of funds. Follow the link below to review the environmental document and for additional details.
