Beginning Thursday, December 24, 2020 and continuing through Sunday, January 3, 2021, the Finance Department will have limited staffing due to the End of Year City Office Shutdown. During this time, there may be delays in responding to routine requests for service.
The Finance department will continue to process utility service requests to start or stop service, receive payments, issue monthly utility statements, and receive business license applications. Customers may send a detailed message including attachments to the Finance Department at ub@cityofgilroy.org or leave a detailed voice message at (408) 846-0420. We will be monitoring emails and phone calls during the normal business hours of 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday, excluding holidays, and will respond to any urgent water requests within 24 hours. We kindly request that customers send only one email or leave one voicemail per request, as this will assist staff to respond in a timely and efficient manner. Normal operations will resume on Monday, January 4, 2021.
