The community is invited to participate with Mayor Marie Blankley and the Gilroy City Council in a commemorative service for the victims of the Garlic Festival shooting. The service will be held on July 28, 2021, at 10:00 AM at the Garlic Festival Memorial site located at the Ranch Site of Christmas Hill Park at 7049 Miller Avenue. The service will also be live-streamed on the City’s Facebook page (facebook.com/CityofGilroy) and will include a few words from Mayor Blankley and a moment of silence. Attendees are asked to observe current protocols for social distancing and mask-wearing.
