[ARCHIVED] Current Watering Limits

Water Smart Logo for Fix a Leak Week

Gilroy pumps most of its water from underground aquifers. You can help protect this shared resource by choosing to use water wisely.

We are currently in a Level 2 Water Supply Shortage and water use is subject to the following limits:

💧 Limits on Watering Hours: Prohibited from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

💧 Limits on Watering Days: Current limits permit watering on Sunday for ODD addresses and Saturday for EVEN addresses

💧 Limits on Water Duration: Fifteen minutes per designated water day per station for landscape irrigation systems

💧 Obligation to Fix Leaks, Breaks, or Malfunctions: Within 48 hours

💧 Limits on Filling Ornamental Lakes or Ponds: Prohibited with limited exceptions

For conservation tools and resources, visit Valley Water.
