Santa Clara County, in collaboration with local cities, towns, and special districts, is updating the Multi-Jurisdicitonal Hazard Mitigation Plan (MJHMP). The purpose of the MJHMP is to develop strategies to mitigate the impact of natural and other hazards, reduce vulnerability, and adapt to the changing climate.
As part of this process, Santa Clara County is inviting community members to participate in a public survey to share their experiences, knowledge, and concerns about local hazards. Information provided in the survey will inform strategies and actions to reduce future risk of death, injuries, and property damage from hazards.
For more information about the MJHMP, process, or take the survey, visit the Emergency Management page on the Santa Clara County website
